When should I refill ?

When your cartridge nears the end of its set life you will get all 3 of the following symptoms together

• REPLACE BLACK TONER (or cyan, magenta, yellow)
• Flashing lights
• You cannot print

At this point you must now put the printer into override and continue to print until the colour fades from your prints.

This will allow you to use up all of the remaining toner in the cartridge. To override the chip choose the following machine settings:

< TOOLBOX > SYSTEM SET UP > CARTRIDGE OUT OVERRIDE > CHOOSE ON > CHOOSE USE OVERRIDE > APPLY

The above override settings will allow you to use up the max amount of toner that is left inside the cartridge.

When the colour starts to fade from your cartridge of choice i.e. magenta - only then proceed to empty and refill that cartridge.
